History and Milestones
1946
The seed of a future leader was sown. Antonio C. Delgado, undaunted by the devastation of the last World War, set forth to pioneer the first floating fuel and water stations, triggering the start of a series of “firsts” in water transport service.
Together with brothers Jose and Francisco, Antonio introduced an innovative and enterprising concept called “Caltex Floating Station,” which provided a more systematic method of servicing the fuel and water ships docked in Manila Bay.
1949
A new company called Delgado Brothers, Incorporated, or DELBROS was established.

Significantly, it was also at this time that the company introduced the “pallet system” which finally mechanized operations in the Port of Manila. The country’s first Professional Overseas Removals and Household Moving service was made available by DELBROS.
DELBROS, in consonance with its commitment to provide the ultimate in customer service, values its workers to the hilt. Always believing in its people as the living dynamo of the DELBROS total machinery. As a result, the company was vested with the distinctive “Employer of the Year” award in 1954.

The service capabilities of the company went nationwide with the opening of DELBROS offices in major provincial capitals around the country.
