At Delbros, we believe that every successful corporation has a responsibility to use its resources and influence to make a positive impact on the world and its people. Our responsibilities as a global corporate citizen are grounded on our mission and values, which is realized through our specific business practices and operations, and by all our employees and suppliers worldwide. The education, humanitarian, and environment sectors are among the major foci of Delbros.
Our ongoing work in the area of global citizenship is focused on mobilizing our resources in the company. This way, we can create more opportunities in communities around the world, foster economic growth, and serve the public through innovative technologies and partnerships with various organizations.
While we have been active in doing social work since the company’s establishment in 1946, we have recently created Impact Ventures, the official arm of the Group responsible for managing and overseeing our overall CSR efforts and contributions.
Our social work covers various sectors and supports different causes. We work with NGOs, not-for-profit groups, government agencies, youth organizations, service organizations, business and industry associations among others.
As much as possible, we strive for long-term partnerships to achieve better and sustainable results that will leave lasting impacts to various communities. Some of our long-time CSR partners include the Boy Scout of the Philippines, Ala-Ala Foundation, Institute of Corporate Directors, AmCham Philippines, Teach for the Philippines, Renovate to Educate, Rotary Club of Makati West, and the Makati Business Club.
We work with other organizations on an ad-hoc basis such as Operation Smile, Earth Day, Haribon Foundation, Asia Society Philippines, World Wildlife Fund, Red Cross, Sibol ng Agham at Teknolohiya, and Project Pearls.
We also provide support to various government agencies in the form of infrastructure building, medical and relief support, provision of equipment for first responders, and other needs covered within their jurisdiction.
We understand that our reputation is a direct reflection of how we live out our corporate values through everyday actions. To realize the success of these values, we believe that constructive engagements with customers, partners, shareholders, governments, NGOs, and other stakeholders is an essential part of helping us identify and manage key issues. This improves our business decision-making processes, helps us to anticipate and respond to the changing expectations of society, and enables us to maintain a broad and balanced perspective about issues affecting our business and society.

Through the years, we at Delbros have strived to build a work environment where a sense of volunteerism is alive and our employees are at the heart of this thrust.
We encourage our employees to engage in volunteerism and social work and have a mandatory one-day-a-year volunteer activity, which they can spend on any advocacy or cause that they are passionate about. The company shoulders the expenses of any activity that go beyond this.
In the recent years, we have been lucky to witness our employees’ growing and innate drive to pursue volunteering activities on top of what the company has already been doing, and are continuously seeing proactive efforts from the members of our team to go beyond what is expected of them.
